The students in this course will learn and develop design skills including computer-aided design, develop craftsmanship skills and develop an understanding of physics as it applies to the design and construction of engineering projects. Students apply scientific methods to problem solving, effectively communicate design ideas and work efficiently as a member of a team. In addition, students are expected to develop presentations and public speaking skills and discover the secrets of science behind construction of bridges, motors, and robots. Students gain broad-based skills that will enhance the individual’s flexibility in electronics communication, computer and related industries and a solid understanding of the basics needed for entry-level positions in the high-tech electronics field.
