CULINARY OCCUPATIONS                

This program is offered in conjunction with Homeward Bound of Marin and the Marin County Office of Education Regional Occupational Program. Students participating will obtain high school credit and will receive a certificate of completion issued by the Marin County Office of Education. Those interested will also be able to take the Food Safety Handler’s test for certification in sanitation and safety in the food service industry.

This course will have emphasis on the importance of good nutrition through meal planning and food preparation. Learning to work as a team, students will learn to make soups, sauces, salads and entres. This class will participate in catering events both in house and within the community.
