COMPUTERIZED ACCOUNTING/BOOKKEEPING:
Computerized Accounting is an introduction to the field of accounting and computerized accounting systems. Emphasis is placed on knowing accounting as it relates to careers, knowing accounting terminology, understanding accounting concepts, principles and practices and applying accounting procedures. Students learn how to prepare and process financial data for computerized accounting systems, such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, inventory, payroll, purchasing and electronic spreadsheets.PREREQUISITES: Age 16 or older
